Hello
I have a very strange installation error when try to install Typo3 4.0 on a Fedora 5 system (apache2.2/php5/mysql 5)!
After step one (after configuring the database username/password and host) the system tells me that there is no database connection. On the apache log i can read the following:
[error] [client 192.168.3.20] PHP Warning: mysql_list_tables(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /Services/Internet/html/t3lib/class.t3lib_db.php on line 967, referer: http://192.168.2.20/typo3/install/index.php?mode=123&step=1&password=joh316
Its always the same error. But the database connection and username/password is tested all works fine (tested with mysql (client) on the same machine as the webserver).
I'm beginning to think that this php5/mysql5 thing is a crap.
Does somebody have a idea about the issue?
Regards
