Hi Joey,

Do you mean this seriously. I thinks it's time to look at real
demensions then. I already know the internet works with electricity. But
it really needs much less energy comparing transportation. For the
energy demand of a the shortest flight a can surf all my lifetime.

The internet can even avoid transportation, if used in a intelligent and
responsible way. The amount of energy the internet needs is in a range
that wouldn't cause any trouble, if the world decided only to use
regenerative forms of energie from today on.

You really can't say the same for flying or for needlessly consumpting
cars as they ar still the mainstream, while alternatives are possible
since years now. For this reasons I think there is a fundamental
difference between the usage of the internet on on hand and the support
of all forms of superfluous transportion on the other. Taking this you
can't seriously make the internet responsibly for unnecassary production
of Co2, but you must make responsible all forms of superfluos energie
vasting by transportation.

Production of Co2 is killing people.
Production of Co2 just for fun is killing people just for fun.
