Hi,
I am creating a site whose menus has to be readable in three different
languages (spanish, french, portuguese). On the contrary, the contents
will always be the same, whatever the language selected.
This is my first Typo3 site :-)
At a first glance, my solution would be to give to the user the
oportunity to choose the template directly from the home page, in the
FE. Every template would define the menus. Tell me if I am wrong, but
the main language template menus (spanish) would be dinamic, and the
two other would be static.
Do you think it is a good option? If yes, how should I do that? I
didn't find any extension to select template from the FE.
Another option would be to create three sites in the tree, and chose the
site from homepage, but this means that I would have three time the same
pages with the same content... Unless I can have the same content
elements in every corresponding page - so that changes made in one
language page should also automatically be made in it's two
corresponding pages - I don't think it coud be a good solution. Is that
possible?
What option would you take? How would you implement that?
Any help welcome,
Nicolas
