[Typo3] restricted page stills show in menu ?

Hi list

It is password protected so only specific group can see the page. But still it shows up in menu ?

What further steps are necessary - it is the standard menu ... but that really shouldnt matter since it is somehow just not registering the hidden flag - although the page is redirected to the front page when i click on the link to the access restriced page. So the page is protected - it is just the link that shouldnt show up.

Any advice ?
