[Typo3] Problem: Indexed Search shows no results

Hi list. I have a serious problem with Indexed Search v2.1.3, as it shows NO 
results!

- System is running TYPO3 v3.8.0
- Content areas are wrapped in <!--TYPO3SEARCH_begin--> & 
<!--TYPO3SEARCH_end-->
- Indexed Srarch is anabled in typoscript SETUP field (config.index_enable = 
1)
- Pages gets indexed as they should (checked via "List>Indexed Search" in 
BE)

Yet I get absolutely NO RESULTS whenever I do a search on the frontend.

Any suggestions what might be wrong in my setup??
