[Typo3] unable to fork error

Hi, 
I've imported a t3d file and got this error -

Warning: exec(): Unable to fork  [diff
c:/inetpub/wwwroot/dummysite/typo3temp/\dif41E.tmp
c:/inetpub/wwwroot/dummysite/typo3temp/\dif41F.tmp] in
c:\inetpub\wwwroot\dummysite\typo3\t3lib\class.t3lib_diff.php on line 168

The tree does seem to have imported though.  Can I just ignore the error and
put it down to some php quirk?
