Hello!

I just wanted to let everyone know that your concerns are definitely
being heard and there has been action on the issues you have addressed.
An international marketing group, which I am a member of, was formed a
few months ago as part of the Association's Communications Committee and
we have been working on a global marketing plan. This plan was presented
during TYCON3 and was met with approval from the Association. Although
the marketing group isn't "visible" at the moment, there is a lot going
on behind-the-scenes. We are also coordinating our efforts with the new
logo and brand that you have seen on the front page of typo3.org. More
information will be published in October at the following location:
http://typo3.org/teams/marketing/global-marketing/ . Currently, this
section features a list of the members and the project's current status.

I'd also like to encourage the US users to subscribe and post on the
typo3.ug.us mailing list. It is a good location to build up a regional
community and as we begin to roll out our regional marketing plan, it
will become a vital area for communications.

If you have any questions, concerns or feedback, please do not hesitate
to contact the marketing team. Contact details are listed on the
marketing page.

Regards,
