[Typo3] dmailer (class.t3lib_dmailer.php) error on line 487

Using T3 3.7, I can send mail to group members if I invoke the Mailer
Engine from the Web interface--50 messages per click. I can't invoke the
cron script from the command line without getting an error.

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in
/srv/www/cgi-bin/typo3_src-3.7.0/t3lib/class.t3lib_dmailer.php on line 487

This line appears to create the MySQL call. The variables must come from
default.conf (I'm just guessing). The error apears to be in the
following statement:

		$res = $GLOBALS['TYPO3_DB']->exec_SELECTquery('*', 'sys_dmail',
'scheduled!=0 AND scheduled<'.time().' AND scheduled_end=0', '',
'scheduled');
		if ($GLOBALS['TYPO3_DB']->sql_error())	{
			die ($GLOBALS['TYPO3_DB']->sql_error());
		}

There have been other threads about an error in dmailer.php, but I
thought that was resolved and this one looks different to me. Thanks for
any help.

Mark
