[Typo3] Building my own dummy install

I usually start a new typo3 site with the dummy blank site, then go 
through and change a lot of constants, setup a basic template and menu 
and install a core set of extensions that every site seems to need 
(search, news) The extensions always have a similar set of boilerplate 
setup (copying css to external files, etc)

What's involved in creating my own dummy package that already has 
everything set as my starting point?
