[Typo3] silly form problem

Yes I thought that would be the problem but it isn't.
Found what's causing it, but don't know how to fix it yet:
I use a png-background image. When I leave it out, I can enter the fields.
So something in my hack to make png-transparency work in IE also causes the 
form field to be inaccesible.

A guess: something near the form fields is absolutely positioned
'over' part or all of the form.
