[Typo3] inconsistency in dmail

hi,

I've found an inconsistency in dmail when you use both plaintext and HTML
versions of a newsletter: The plaintext-version has a template header (dear
###USER_name###) and a footer (link to be removed) while the HTML version does
not.
 
My solution is to use an empty plaintext-template and put the salutation and
the "signature" ("click this link to be removed from list") into the
typo3-page.

Is there a better solution? Maybe insert header+footer on Newsletter-pages
automaticalls via typoscript?
