[Typo3] Integration of webapplication in TYPO3 website

Hello,

Does anybody have suggestions or links to topics how to integrate a 
webapplication in a TYPO3 website ?

More concrete: I have a TYPO3 website with a HTML template and use the 
autoparser.  The template has a Logon form and I'd like to post the 
logon credentials on a page of an external webapplication.  This works 
fine "outside" TYPO3, but I'd like to create an integrated look and 
therefore need the webapplication 'within' my TYPO3 website ...
