[Typo3] No pages are viewable, page source is blank.

OK I *think* I've got it figured out, but it makes no
sense. Here's what I did:

When I created the site and viewed it, I did so
without linking it to a domain. Once I linked it to a
registered domain on my web server, it worked.

The problem is, that's never been the case before!
Normally, I can test the changes in the backend
*before* having to attach it to a domain.

Has anybody seen this happen before?
