[Typo3] Calculating in a mailform, is it possible?

Hello all,

For a meeting I need to make a registration form for people to fill out
with some fields to tick (attending yes/no etc.).
The total price has to be calculated at bottom of the page depending on
what prices people are ticking off. After sending the form the total
price should also be listed in the email they receive.

Is this in any way possible? In PHP or any ext already available?
Any directions would be appreciated.
