[Typo3] Not valid MySQL result resource

 I have just installed the Quickstart 3.6.2 package on a remote server, 
and it's running well except for two error messages.
1) On the frontend, the page on which I have set up Calendar extension 
plugin, has two of the following at the top of the page:
Warning: mysql_fetch_assoc(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL 
result resource in /PATH_TO/t3lib/class.t3lib_db.php on line 689

2) On the backend, in "Page" view, in the right side frame, I get one of 
these at the top:
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL 
result resource in /PATH_TO/typo3/t3lib/class.t3lib_db.php on line 702
