[Typo3] English version of Typo3 book

I am one who placed a pre-order for this book and anxiously await it -- 
yes, I know it's not 'til next month. But I'm wondering. With 3.8 so 
close to being ready, will the book's contents still be entirely 
relevant? I expect that the answer is yes, but perhaps someone more 
familiar with the contents could speak to it's applicability as new 
Typo3 versions come out.
