I have no idea whether TV screws up your templates but it seems like it. 
For a simple test:

mytest = TEXT
mytest.value = YOU SHOULD SEE ME ON EVERY PAGE

then in your setup, assign mytest to where lib.mainMenu is assigned. I 
don't know what it's called in your template but it should look 
something like

somemarker < lib.Mainmenu

change this to

somemarker < mytest

This should replace your menu with the dummy text which should appear on 
every subpage. If this does not work, your templates are screwed 
somewhere in the subpages.
