Thanks Amy!
I now understand about the news extension but can you tell me how you can
change the format for all other date formats in the content elements. I am
talking about the start and stop dates for content elements and another is
the date found in the header section of a content element that displays on
the page. Is there another setup.txt for typo3 other than the install tool?
