[Typo3] TYPO3 on Windows - how is it working?

Hi Michael

I am running Typo3 on a windows 2000 server (P4 2.4 1gig RAM with 80 gig ATA mirrored drives). I also run it on Fedora Core 3 Linux. My main problem with FC3 was a learning curve, which has been substantially reduced, but not to the point where I'm comfortable in a production environment. My main problem with Windows and Typo3 is that it really doesn't work well with MySQL 4.1 without massaging nearly every extension. Other than that it really amounts to personal preference. The main nice thing (AFAIC) about the linux install is symbolic links.

I would not discourage the running of Typo3 to an experienced Windows person. The install was trivial, but the tweaking is not for newbies.

Apache 2.0.53 with SSL
PHP 4.3.10
MySQL 4.0.20d
ImageMagick. 6.17
