[Typo3] Website Very Slow in IE but fast in Firefox

Thank you all for your comments.

I have now remoced the csshover.htc file - it was left over from one
of my attempts to restructure the menu system. That has speeded up the
site a lot. I am still not sure that I am hapy with the perfmomance
and will take the advice to copy the page and remove each element in
turn to see what difference it makes.

I don't think this is an issue relating to validation, but one of my
targets is to create pages that do validate.

I will also discuss the menu eisign with the web designer that we
used, it may be that the answer is a differnt menu system altogether.
