[Typo3] Website Very Slow in IE but fast in Firefox

This sounds right; the .htc file uses javascript to make IE follow the CSS
recommendations and permit :hover pseudoclasses on arbitrary elements (i.e.
elements in addition to <a>). And there're a LOT of list items on that
page...

Is this the time or place to mention that flyout
every-page-in-the-site-on-every-page-of-the-site menus are generally
regarded as *worse* for usability than most alternative menuing systems?
