[TYPO3] linking text using RTE with tt_news elements

Hi All,

In my site I want to link some text to tt_news elements. For this I am 
mannually taking out the link of the tt_news item. When I try to link some 
text from the RTE using external link option to some tt_news elements it 
does not display the link in the fronend.

Anybody having any idea why is this happening? Or may be there is some other 
way to do that.
