[Typo3] which event extension?

Hi

There are about a billion event and calendar extensions in the TER.
But which one is the one to use? I just can't figure it out.
What I need is something simple like this:

Events should be categorized and the browse functions should be able to 
handle large amounts of events in an convenient way.

Any hints?
