[Typo3] chc_forum - not displaying any posts

Hey all,

I'm pretty sure i have set everything up right but get this message when 
i preview the forum

"You have attempted to view a page which either does not exist, or to 
which you do not have access. You may need to login before viewing this 
page."

i've installed the plugin on the page, set the pid for the FE user 
storage folder, (there showing fine in the "Users" section which 
contains a couple users and a group), i also created some records 
posts/threads/confrences, etc but cant see them.

THeres no prompt to login, and this plugin is only based on one page so 
I haven't a clue why its not display the forum properly..

any ideas?
