[Typo3] transfering data from PDA to TYPO3

Hello,

Is there an application that would allow me to upload records such as
classified advertisements from a PDA into a TYPO3 web site?

I am considering getting a PDA application built that would allow
advertisements to be created (including pictures). Then the
advertisements must to uploaded into a TYPO3 extension to display the
advertisement on the web site.

Do I need an application that runs on the desktop that would perform
the actual upload?
Has anyone done this before?
