Hi Christoph. Sorry to hear that they tampered with your masterpiece. I 
was browsing smartftp site immediately after I read about you having 
only ftp access and beeing unable to chmod because of it. Take a look at 
what I found in the list of recent feature additions to SmartFTP:
- Recursive change of file/folder permissions
I think this might be your thing since you have only ftp access? You 
could also try some of the webshells?
