Hello. I apologise if my post is a bit newbish, it's because it is my first post
on this mailing list, and generally the first issue I encountered in this brief
period of acquaintance with Typo3. I've gone through the documentation about
TypoScript. I installed the quickstart and the dummy package on my existing
Apache - PHP - MySQL - Windows server. I used the latest stable binaries
for all software required. This type of error, however keeps appearing whenever
I install an extension of any type.

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL
result resource in c:\program files\apache
group\apache\htdocs\quickstart\typo3\t3lib\class.t3lib_db.php
on line 736

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by
(output started at
c:\program files\apache
group\apache\htdocs\quickstart\typo3\t3lib\class.t3lib_db.php:736)
in c:\program files\apache
group\apache\htdocs\quickstart\typo3\template.php on line 601

Here is the screenshot of the error appearing in the List section:

In this case I tried to install the Simple Gallery extension on the quickstart
package. The ch_simple_gallery appears under EXT.extList in the configuration,
and I tried to make the database updates through the backend. The
extension still
reports that some tables or variables might be missing or the wrong
type. Also an
error saying No XCLASS inclusion code found in file
"pi1/genthumbs.php", is displayed.

As said before, I'm new to Typo3, so I don't really know where to go and read up
on these type of problems. Any help will be appretiated (Even pointing me to the
extension documentation will do, as I can't seem to find it anywhere
in the backend
interface).

Kind regards,
Srdjan 'some1else' Prodanovic
