I agree!

Last update may be fine, if you have no traffic on the site and have
some (< 1000) pages. But: 2000 Users a day will slow down the machine
... even if it's dedicated. I've deactived the Extension on
www2.fernwege.de. Since than, the site works fine. Bevore that ...
