[Typo3] FRAME_TARGET in php

Hi,

I wrote an extension which adds an extra header type. Everything works
fine except that the wrong target is used when a link is provided.
Anybody can tell me how I read the PAGE_TARGET information that is
stored in the template?

Also the above seems a pretty basic question, however I searched
for an answer for ages without any success. So, any hints where I should
look for an answer next time before bothering the list?
