[Typo3] could be helpful

since I've installed t3 on linux platform message
bellow was a constant.

/usr/lib/typo3/t3lib/class.t3lib_db.php on line 723

After several days googling and mailing to the list I
found out that mysql 4.1 has corrects some bug
existent -never should be- in previous versions. Then
trying to apply .diff files to fix/update somo t3 php
scripts got another error.

With deliver date just next door, went to sourceforge
cvs repository and replaced 3.7 installed scripts with
those provided by cvs.

At this moment it seems to work.

I'd like to know if this "procedure" is correct or
not. If it is, other people could use this experience
to have an easier implementation.

PD: is there any other user in argentina, I'd like to
make a t3 spanish site available.
