Patrick,

I have since found out that it was a problem with the symlinks but I now get
this error No pages are found on the rootlevel!. I have manged to login in
to the install module and created a new backend admin user. When logged in I
found that the page tree was not there. I did another mysqlhotcopy and
tared with perms. scp'ed across to the new server restarted mysql and I
still have the same problem. Is there a set process for moving Typo3 ?

Thanks Mark
