[Typo3] RTE, html area etc....

Heya, I am getting a little confused here:

When rendering bullets then typo3 (somewhere in yet a other RTE 
transformation)
My LI tags are surrounded by this ugly p tag

<p style="margin:0 0 0 0;"><li>Stir well before use.</li></p>

Is there a possible methid for clean rendering of HTML using the RTE?

I can't understand well why any default setting would not be sufficient,
but apparently any default setting and typo3 renders all kinda stuff 
with gif images
and other funcy stuff that can be done in CSS....
