[Typo3] Am I correct ?

Hi, I am new and I don't know if I am correcxt: I down loaded the quickstart 
site from typo3 web site, I unzip it on a folder in my PC and then I copied 
all the 38 MByte into a folder of my web site (using ftp) on Aruba.it, I 
obtain: www.mysite.it/quickstart folder, if I open Internet explorer and 
write www.mysite.it/quickstart I should see typo3 administration page and I 
see...

What does it mean ? I have to configure something on files inside the 
quickstart package ? My server inside my provider is a windows server.

P.S. Is there any documentation on how to solve problem to publish your site 
? I have seen a lot of document on how to use typo3, but not how to solve 
problem in publishing on service providere...
