[Typo3] tt_products problem with basket

I am trying to set up the shop system. I have configured my pages as described in the tutotial, and the listing of articles works. But when I try to access the shopping basket I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /var/www/.../ext/tt_products/pi/class.tx_ttproducts.php on line 2453

When the shoppingbasket is empty I dont get the error, just a message that the basket is empty.

Can anyone help please?
