[Typo3] Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_pconnect()class.t3lib_

update, just found a post on the list that might solve my problem. It states 
that I must set my Passwords in MySQL with the MySQL-Function 
'OLD_PASSWORD()', then you can connect without Problems to a 4.1.x-Database.

But could some explain exactly how to do this (i'm no webmaster, just a 
'webdesigner' ;) )
