[Typo3] tt_news upgrading questions.

Hi list,

I've been checking the instructions but seems I can't find the update 
button that is mentioned in the documentation.

I am try to upgrade from 1.0.4 to 2.1.1 on a T3 3.7.0

I see on the left, a button like the refresh button in explorer but when 
I click it I get the following message:

Error: Installation is not allowed in this path (typo3/ext/)

And if I click over the extension name when trying to import from TER I 
get the following:

If I could download the t3x I think that I would be able to install it 
on typo3conf/ext dir as other extension, but I can't find where to 
download it from.

Does anybody have some hint that can help me?
