[Typo3] <br> to <br /> in tt_content

Hi all,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to convert the typo generated
<br> tag to a <br /> tag when pressing shift+enter/enter in the text
area for page content to.

I've looked through previous posts but can't seem to fix the problem.
