[TYPO3-dev] EXT:smoothmigration - from TER or Github?

To my knowledge in git there is work on it to make the extension itself 
working with typo3 6.2. Which resulted the last time I tried the one 
from github in a non-working version in typo3 4.5

So if you use typo3 4.5 you might go with the one from ter and for typo3 
6.2 the (unstable?) one from github.

But maybe they fixed the typo3 4.5 bugs in github already.
