According to this thread in the German mailing list, there are indeed 
some extensions included in the Introduction Package, that are not 
7.0-compatible yet:

I checked on 20/Dec/2014 and only 24 extensions in the TER are marked as 
"compatible with 7.x", so you should expect some more issues on your way.

If someone is new to TYPO3, I would use TYPO3 6.2 LTS and the 
Introduction Package at this point in time (not TYPO3 7.0). If you want 
to check out 7.0 though, I would do this on an empty instance. And if 
you want to be a hero, use 7.0 and the Introduction Package and report 
and/or fix every issue you encounter, so that the community will get a 
working Introduction Package, compatible with 7.0, as soon as possible :-)
