I'd like to discuss the idea for the extension "TYPO3 API compatibility 
library" [1].

Please have a look at the short explanation in the project wiki [2] and 
share your thoughts about:
- could this be a help for extension developers?
- could this even be a help for the smoothmigration project?
- problems?
- whatever comes to your mind ;-)
