In case you would like to quickly get a working environment for writing
and rendering documentation using Sphinx and at the same time having a
sandbox with TYPO3 master and PHP 5.5 to test your extensions for
compatibility, you may want to use a virtual machine:

https://github.com/xperseguers/sphinxdoc

You will really get a 100% blank TYPO3 install with everything you need
(including fully functional PDF rendering).
