Hello Together,
coreupdate uses a scheduler task to check if the installed version
matches the latest patch release!
If not it creates a warning in the reports mail.
The idea of the extension is to make the described change of the link
with an easy to use interface (NOT automatically ;)
No automatic updates are not good for big sites, but clickable updates
can make things easier :D
