Hi Benjamin,

i would suggest the following features (useful for both administrator, 
integrator and developer):

* being "less silent" on extension updates (showing db operations, 
etc.. require an aditional "confirm" step in this case, ...)
* displaying author in listview (to be able to choose exts by a known 
or "trusted" author)
* having something like a detail view to show additional ext-infos 
(extension files, conflicts, suggests, requires, author, ...).

The features above are focused to "downloading and installing" and 
wouldn't blow up EM, i think...
