[TYPO3-dev] IRRE in flexforms in TYPO3 4.5.x

I've tried to use for the first time a field of "inline" type in a
flexform. Any attempt to create new element results in an error "Wrong
configuration in table tt_content".

After some Googling I realized that inline fields might not be supported
in flexforms. However, I failed to find a conclusive answer.

1. Can somebody tell me if inline fields are supposed to work in
flexforms in TYPO3 4.5.x?

2. If yes, do you have any hint what causes the given error?
