[TYPO3-dev] Flexform select list populated from MySQL table

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to dynamically create a FlexForm dropdown list using a 
MySQL tables records?

I've been doing some searching and couldn't find anything? Surely this 
is a standard enough requirement??
