[TYPO3-dev] IRRE - get parent information within child record

Hi list,

maybe I'm missing the obvious but is it possible to get information 
about the parent field of an IRRE child record during TCEFORMS generation?

Say, for example, getting the name of the parent field from within an 
itemsProcFunc of a select field of the child record or using one of the 
TCEFORMS hooks?

Any hints greatly appreciated! Many thanks, Torsten
