Hi Tomas.
You don't want to use the shortcut feature, I think.
Instead, there is a checkbox in the page properties that is called
"show content from this page". This is what you're looking for. It
creates a second URI your content can be reached by.
I don't know if those pages go to the index, actually. But I think so.

I understand what you are saying, but the customer want it this way..
Perhaps a manual mod_rewrite is more appropriate.
