[TYPO3-dev] t3lib_div::_GETset howto

Hi all,

I'm looking for a way to set a piVar when it is not set. The extension 
itself doesn't use pi_setPiVarDefaults. I found the t3lib_div::_GETset 
function that could help me. But, how do I use it?

When I create a small extra extension and put it in ext_localconf.php or 
ext_tables.php it doesn't work.

Who can point me in the right direction?
