To all TYPO3 Coders who are attending the Code Sprint next week :)
As the Berlin Code Sprint 2011 is marching closer, I want to give you a
quick overview of how we want to outline the week. The first two days
will include some general discussions about certain team-wide hot topics
like Git/Gerrit migration or the next steps on the migration path to
TYPO3 v5. The major part of the week however should be marked by having
small coding groups and projects we want to kickstart (or even finish).
Inbetween, and especially in the evenings we considered "7 minutes of
fame" where everybody can do small presentations about cool things like
"Power using phpStorm for TYPO3 development" or such.
However, this is only a rough idea of the actual topics we want to
discuss, and there are a lot of places where we'd like to get your
ideas, to fill the week with interesting bits and pieces for everybody.
The schedule also already shows when we plan on having the breaks. Lunch
is taken care of every day at a small café nearby. On wednesday we join
in to have a coding night to revive the spirit from the last Code Sprint
in Stuttgart.
You will find the current schedule in the wiki, and we're happy to get
your input, either via this list or directly next monday, when we meet
in person and start the week with a kickoff meeting.
