Extension 'xliff' has been uploaded to TER about 1h ago...

Should be tried as a PoC. For sure not on Pootle (at least "our" Pootle 
on translation.typo3.org) as we don't have the capacity to deal with 
temporary "projects" but it could be a good experience to try with Virtaal.

I'd suggest to implement XLIFF export to extension l10nmgr [1].
